Background Music

We had originally planned to start recording and producing the SFX & BGM roughly a month ago, and finish them by the end of the sprint, which was two weeks back. However, they have been delayed for quite a bit due to having several major setbacks (such as common tests, assignments, having limited access to the software that can produce and mix audio, and most importantly the recording studio not being able to operate).

Despite all that, my team was understanding and supportive of my idea to record our very own background music and produce our own sound effects by editing royalty-free samples. During the two week term break, I began recording the instrumental tracks at home and also coming to school on several occasions to record the other instruments.

The process was long and tiresome, due to it being my first time trying my hand at mixing, thus it may be a little rough around the edges. But all in all, my teammates and I are quite content with the outcome with the main theme, which provides an upbeat sound for the players and also being able to loop so that it plays smoothly for as long as it is required.
